We are writing to share a rare opportunity as the completion of the Mindrolling temple at Minling Pema Gatsal / Minling Lotus Garden – the seat of the Mindrolling lineage in the West, in Virginia, USA – is approaching. After over two years of searching, Rinpoche and Jetsunla are very close to acquiring some exquisite statues for the Vajrayana Shrine Room in the temple. These statues include Shakyamuni, Padmasambhava, Minling Dorsem, Vajrakilaya, Troma Nagmo, the 21 Taras, Sangye Menla, Amitabha, Chenrezig, and Manjushri. Crafted by the descendants of the Buddha’s Shakya clan, they are among the finest in the world. Each statue is over 60 cm tall and will be beautifully placed on a golden base in the Shrine Room of the new temple at Lotus Garden.
Contributing to this project is a wonderful opportunity to accumulate merit, support Rinpoche’s activities, and create a karmic connection to Lotus Garden. We have now been given the opportunity to invite you to contribute as well. Each statue costs between $4,000 and $7,000.
